(April 4, 2019, 6:14 pm)Great ride and conects to many other trails. The tunnel under the tracks to fossil creek is open. Loveland trail and spring creek to the poudre are some options.

(November 27, 2018, 1:25 am)This is a really nice prairie area. Not as enclosed as some natural areas in Fort Collins but the wide open views are beautiful.
The paths are nicely paved and wide enough for two lanes of strollers or wheelchairs.
There are occasional signs with facts about the area and the wildlife found there.
You can see houses or roads from the entire area but the rolling hills and sprawling prairie is beautiful and worth seeing.
I really enjoyed the walk. -

(March 9, 2018, 8:35 pm)It's a great spot for sunsets and it's got some nice trails for walking and biking. The observatory is the best spot to hang out at and takes pictures or just watch.
It's got an info board about prairie dogs. There used to be a speaker box that made prairie dog calls but it's been removed and now there are just some wires hanging out
