Wonderful place in an excellent location. The entire area is beautiful, and the owners are very friendly. If you are dinning in and get a coffee, they come in a real mug generously sized. The prices are very reasonable. Both my wife and I ordered a sandwich and coffee each, everything was exceptional. I really cannot get over the location and quality of the staff there. Top notch.
We visited here months ago, but I am just now writing this review. (If that doesn't tell you how great it was, I don't know what to say).
Short Review: GO HERE - You will be happy you did!
It was a simple coffee break on the road for us, and it was odd as google popped up a café open seemingly in the middle of nowhere. We took a gamble driving down a residential street (thinking are we sure about this) .... and it paid off.
The coffee shop is down underneath the lodge, but that's okay because that's the side of the building with the views! It is a quaint and wonderful place. The pictures of the interior are accurate - it is that cool. And the views looking out towards Pike's Peak are incredible. Pictures will not do it justice.
We had two great cups of coffee (one a latte) and they were amazing and served in oversized mugs. Sitting on the back balcony sipping the amazing beverage, we continued to laugh because we thought there is no way this is real. This is too perfect. The staff was so kind and I hope they can continue to get business so I can visit again when I am back in the area.
We visited on a Sunday afternoon and received excellent service. The drinks lean a bit sweet but were very good, and there were plenty of alternative milk options. We also got a sandwich to go, which was delicious. The patio and the inside are both absolutely gorgeous, and the view over the sea of evergreen trees is an incredible bonus
Located in the Dawn of Hope lodge.
Excellent grilled cheese and homemade tomato soup! Nice barista options too.
A true gem, delicious food and coffee with a fantastic view and very friendly staff. This place is never crowded and I don't understand why. Obviously a lot of people don't know about it yet or it would be. We love it!
