(August 5, 2021, 10:54 pm)This is quite simply the best vacation property I have ever stayed at. The word "clean" is an understatement, this house is immaculate. Joe and Kate have thought of everything and have, in my opinion, the perfect Colorado vacation spot. They provide so many amazing goodies and amenities that our family appreciated; they had, among other things, a basket with some over the counter medicines that might help with altitude sickness and a little first aid kit. How thoughtful!
They are 1 hour away from cañon city, 30 minutes from woodland park, and 5 minutes from the fossil beds national park (veterans this is free for you and up to 3 others). Not to mention you get to wake up to pikes peak as your view every morning.
There are entirely too many positive things to say about this place and our stay here. 10/10 would stay here again, many times over. -

(August 10, 2020, 11:56 am)Five stars does not do this home justice. The home is beautiful in itself. However, Kate and Joe have thought of every single detail. I read several reviews prior describing the deer coming to the back porch. I had low expectations for this- these are wild animals and can’t be controlled. However, the deer came a couple times a day and let us pet them. The kids that were with us were tickled. There were several stuffed animals, Lincoln logs and games. If you stay here, plan on spending lots of time at this house. Highly recommend. It’s a little out of the way from tourist sites; however it’s worth the drive and worth every penny.

(June 21, 2019, 1:08 pm)By far the nicest I've stayed at. The amenities were plentiful. Nice views. Great instructions on equipment. Great View of Pikes Peak from the balcony. Deer came by every evening. The kids loved it. Only negative was 1 ply toilet paper. Very well kept place.
