(April 8, 2023, 2:29 am)So I was riding my electric bike (I'm visually impaired due to a brain tumor) on the way to guffey canyon to pick up any trash and enjoy the beauty, the battery on the bike failed and caught fire. A friendly neighbor happened by and helped me put dirt on the fire. The response of the volunteers was rather prompt and the EMS people were top notch. She even asked if I needed a blood glucose check as I'm type 1 Diabetic! All in all fantastic help from dedicated people. A+ and thank you!
