I came to see Dr James after experiencing a covid vaccine injury. I was so frustrated after spending a year and a half with my pcp, various specialists, and lots of therapies, through which I experienced very little healing. I was hopeful that switching gears, and trying a functional medicine perspective might help. Dr James spent many hours in the beginning, getting to know me, taking an in-depth health history, talking about my diet, personal experiences, and various labs to get the whole picture of who I was and where my health was at. From there he helped me process and think about things in such a way as to educate me and give me the skills to navigate whatever comes my way in the future. I’m so appreciative of his coaching, teaching, encouraging, and caring way of imparting wisdom.

The health coach, Kristin Sartain, is such a delightful person! She whole heartedly cheers you on towards your goals. She helps you dig deep, process the hardships, and helps you walk forward with joy - no matter what the circumstances are.

I’ve been so happy to find Dr. James and his True Life staff. After spending the last year with two different doctors trying to optimize my thyroid, I finally switched to Dr. James and within a few months my thyroid was optimal. The staff is amazing and always available to answer my questions through the Spruce app. Dr. James is very thorough and I never feel rushed. I finally have a doctor that will listen to me and includes me in my patient plan. I highly recommend Dr. James for anyone working on a thyroid or adrenal issue.

I am extremely appreciative of the thorough testing and assessment that is conducted and the ample time that Dr. James spends explaining the test results, what the results mean in terms of my health, and practically speaking, what I can do about it.
