(January 15, 2019, 9:42 pm)A beautiful nature park here. We saw some Bald Eagles roosting here. A must see for bird watchers. You have to move around a bit and keep your eyes open, but lots of stuff to see. Not perfect, but so close to suburbia and so close to nature.

(September 21, 2018, 9:29 am)This is a pretty park, with small ponds surrounding the campsites. The biggest disadvantage is that 6 lanes of I-25 are only a mile east and the road noise is easily heard. This is a very well maintained park, staff was friendly and I have never seen a dump / fresh station as nice in all of our travels.
For us, this stop was all about location. We have family in Brighton and needed something close by. This was a perfect spot for us.
