I am 55 yrs old, I have lived a lot of places and seen a lot of doctors. Dr. Amy Shenkenberg is the BEST DR I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. She listens, makes you feel like you are a WANTED patient. She allows you to participate in your own care, works with you to come up with what is best for YOU! EX: I was diagnosed as pre-diabetic and placed on Metformin. After reading the side effects, I did not want to take it and I made a deal with her to not take it for three months and to start on diet and exercise. She allowed me to choose what diet. Gave me tools... 3 months later - my A1C normal - no metformin. I am thinner, stronger, healthier. I have many examples just like that! She also has an incredible nurse named Calvin. Together they are the best medical team out there!
