Both Shawna and David are some of the truly best counselors to work with, not only in the Northern Colorado region, but nationwide. Shawna has the most comforting and compassionate approach to counseling yet she has the ability to compassionately bring out your bottom-lines and what needs to change for your life, in a supportive and non-judgmental manner. She is not one of those counselors who merely listens to you and sends you on your way. She truly is devoted to this work and her passions are so evident from any time you are working with her. I would rate 5+ stars if possible! Shawna is my first recommendation for a counselor for anyone looking for someone to truly help them and who knows their stuff. David is also an extremely professional and passionate counselor! He is grounded and understands the realities to life and the goals you have. He is committed to his field and ever expanding his expertise for his clients! Both of these counselors and this practice are true gems within Northern Colorado and you will not be wasting your time.   I highly recommend Revitalize Counseling for Change if you are looking for kind, understanding and professional counselors. I've worked specifically with David. Before going and seeing David, I was really nervous and skeptical that therapy would help me. Depression and anxiety can make anybody feel like they are stuck in a never-ending battle of the mind and that nothing can help. However, David immediately helped me to feel comfortable with his kind demeanor and caring attitude. Over the time that I attended counseling, he helped me by listening and giving me tools to overcome the negative thought processes I was stuck in and helped me to see things in a more positive way. I am in a very healthy place mentally now and could not be more glad that I chose to seek the help that I needed! Do yourself a favor, and call them today.
