  Let me start by saying Dr. Melissa really deserves a 20/10, but that's not how ratings work. If you want to know why I will, and do, tell everyone I can about how she earned that rating, read on. Otherwise for the quick synopsis go to the bottom of the review!
  
  I'm really lucky and my mom understood how great Chiropractic care was for us growing up, so I've gone to a chiropractor in general since I was about 12 years old. Originally it was for allergies, later for menstrual pain, and even a torn disc in highschool. I've gone to good ones, I've run into a couple of not so good ones, and I even worked for a really good one in my mid 20s for a while. I've been exposed to many different techniques, and as a woman with PCOS was even able to conceive naturally after receiving very specific chiropractic care for 6 months. What a lot of people don't realize is that a good chiropractor can help your body achieve it's full functioning potential, and that's EXACTLY what Dr. Melissa does. Our girls have seen a chiropractor since they were a week old. Some of you reading this will think that's crazy, but stop and think about the birthing process, and tell me again you don't think they've been through anything traumatic enough to need a chiropractor. When a chiropractor certified in pediatrics is adjusting a baby it is the most gentle thing you've ever seen. I'm sure Dr. Melissa would be happy to show you a video or two if you ask. Even though our girls have been adjusted their entire lives, like most kids, they are wary of doctors and strangers in general. A big part of the 20/10 rating is because of the first interaction Dr. Melissa had with each child. She was so aware of their feelings, she quite literally got on the floor with them while they were playing with the toys to do the initial exam. She consistently asked permission before reaching to touch their shoulders, or back, or arm. She told them EXACTLY what she was looking for. She made it fun for them and even gave them a stuffy to adjust with her! She treated them like their own person. And by the time she was done with the exam, our girls felt so trusting in her that THEY took HER to the table for an adjustment.
  A lot of people think chiropractic is too expensive. I think that's a misconception, though it's also subjective I suppose. Most insurance companies don't innately cover chiropractic adjustments, and most chiropractors don't take insurance as a result. That being said I would argue that in most instances it's no more expensive than any doctor office copay anyhow. The other thing some of my friends say to me is that they "don't go because then you have to keep going." Which is somewhat true I guess. Just like you have to keep going to the dentist your whole life if you want to continue to have good teeth, you should definitely continue going to a good chiropractor if you want to have a good nervous system.
  
  Dr. Melissa is beyond wonderful with kids. Her adjustments for adults are great too. Her care is affordable for a single person, or a family. The office is open, welcoming, and clean. She is incredibly knowledgeable and her energy is radiating.   Absolutely Phenomenal!
  Started with treating me for vertigo and now she treats my husband and has greatly helped with his diabetic neuropathy and my kids. She is efficient, kind and actually listens to what your needs are. She doesn’t pressure you and is fairly priced.

  We started seeing Dr. Melissa in December when my husband had a shoulder injury. He LOVED her ability to listen and her adjustment style. He encouraged my kids and me to come for a family wellness visit. We all have since been adjusted by her. Dr. Melissa is kind, thoughtful and a damn good chiropractor! Her clinic is very family focused and friendly!!
  
  I recommend this clinic if you want that family, hometown care and feel (toys to play with included) chiropractor, who will treat your entire family with integrity and kindness, and give amazing results so you feel better!!!

  Dr.Mel is an amazing human being. Iam a chronic pain patient who saw no light at the end of the tunnel until I met her. She has carefully brought me back to the best me I can be. She honestly has love and compassion for her patients and I would recommend her to anyone and everyone
