The director Michael Beacher is an extremely committed, thorough and experienced physical therapist who takes both his clients current injury and overall wellness goals and wellbeing post injury very seriously. Michael came to me highly recommended by one of the top doctors at the Hospital of Special Surgery (HSS) in New York and he personally oversees all of the staff at the facility to ensure things run smoothly for each patient. All staff who work in the Greenwich branch are extremely warm, experienced and reassuring — it’s a very positive place. The facility is open on Saturdays and Sundays which is a big plus if you work during the week.

From my very first contact and initial meeting/consultation with Dr. Beecher, I was filled with confidence that I had made the right choice in seeking care for my injuries. Mike (as he would insist on being called) was effective in projecting an image of professionalism, sensitivity, and quickly established a rapport with me that greatly aided in working through such a challenging, mentally and physically painful point in my life. As an athlete and a US Army Combat Veteran, Dr. Beecher quickly picked up on my ability to adapt to instruction and was able to intuitively work with me through difficult periods and physical challenges all while expressing genuine concern that exceeded expectation from a Doctor - patient standpoint. Dr. Beecher quickly became a friend.
Mike truly is a subject matter expert and an innovative professional of his craft. My dynamic and complex issues related to my injury coupled with my personal athletic goals proved to be multifaceted, but Dr. Beecher's acute observation and consistency around my updated status yielded an unwavering confidence that I was in the right hands. The Performance Physical Therapy staff are an extension of Dr. Beecher's standard of excellence, always accommodating, welcoming, and willing to assist in all circumstances. The facility was sufficient for all of my needs even through the final stages of my recovery which enabled me to do much more rigorous physical activity and advanced athletic routines. As painful as my recovery was at times, I came to enjoy and look forward to my sessions with Mike and Performance Physical Therapy.
I can not say enough about the outstanding experience I had through my extended period of treatment with Dr. Beecher and Performance-PT. Having a strong frame of reference and previous experience in preventative health, overall health & wellness, and athletic/sports lifestyle, Dr. Beecher is one of the few individuals that I look towards as a trusted professional on the cutting-edge of his field. Performance Physical Therapy served as conduit to advance past my injuries and transition me into a more knowledgeable, superior athlete. I would recommend Dr. Beecher to anyone looking to improve their overall health and wellness or recover from any substantial injury before or after surgery.
Bottom line: If you are looking for a doctor whose medical knowledge is encyclopedic, treats the whole person, and takes the time to be caring even while maintaining a very efficient office, then Dr. Mike Beecher is, in my opinion, the only consideration in the Fairfield county area. -

(March 21, 2018, 2:23 pm)I have worked with Mike Beecher for about 3 months. My whole experience at performance PT has been 5 star. The staff are friendly, the facility is spotless and has all the best equipment and I have received excellent care. Mike has gone out of his way to make sure I am on the right track with my exercises. I get videos emailed to me of the new ones I do so I can make sure I am doing everything right at home. It's been a great experience and my back is getting better.
