My husband suffered a serious ankle fracture making it unsafe for him to come home after a hospital stay. The staff at Ridge Crest exceeded our highest expectations. From the care managers, social workers, physical therapists, nurses, aids and maintenance staff. Each person was professional, competent and respectful.

Pets are allowed to visit so our 7 month old Shih tzu Etta was able to enjoy extra socialization visiting with all the residents

The facility is well maintained and the grounds are beautiful. All elements that contribute to healing. One bonus is access to dining facilities at Meadow Ridge, the Bistro, making you almost forget why you are there 😊

After three weeks of expert care and PT we are so happy to begin the next stage of healing at home!!

I highly recommend Ridge Crest if you are ever in need.

I can’t say enough positive things about my experience at Ridge Crest. From the moment Carol and I entered the lobby and were greeted by Edison, we knew we were in the right place. Having spent a month at Stamford Hospital (including 8 days in the ICU) I certainly had numerous challenges ahead of me but the staff and doctors put us at ease immediately and made me feel, to a person, that they were all there to help me recover and return to as close to a normal life as possible.

While there are many individuals I could single out for their care and kindness, the entire staff of Cedars, from the nurses to the aides, housekeeping and maintenance all deserve my thanks and gratitude (with a special shoutout to my friend George who always greeted me with a smile and a word of encouragement).

I had some doubts initially about the PT and OT facilities—they are due for some renovation and expansion—but the enthusiasm of the staff more than made up for any deficiencies in the “gym” as thy referred to it. PT and OT is tailored to the goals and objectives of the patients and in my case as the team got to know my limitations and my enthusiasm to recover, they were encouraging and pushed me to exceed my goals. Something that helped me emotionally and medically to achieve the goals I set with Dr. Savino when I first arrived.

Lastly, I want to speak directly to the chefs and servers of the various kitchens and dining rooms (including the Bistro), I have never had the quality and diversity of meals in a nursing care facility or hospital as was presented meal after meal. I took advantage of the Bistro’s stellar menu on multiple occasions when guests would come to visit. A tip of the hat to Chef Glaudys and her team.

Thank you to everyone for making my stay a pleasurable and productive experience.

The staff was warm and welcoming. Every need I had was addressed thoroughly and cheerfully. Every staff member went above and beyond to make sure I was safe and comfortable. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. The facility is clean, and the grounds are gorgeous. This is definitely the place you want to choose if you ever have the need.

Great staff, nurses, aids...so caring and compassionate to their patients and family. Facility is warm and welcoming, the choices of meals are great. PT and OT staff do such a fantastic job to get their patients well so that they can return to their daily lives.
