Amazing food, isn’t particularly cheap but they gave a huge amount of meat and food overall (the photo is after eating like half of it)
This is an amazing place to grab a healthy and robust meal either on the go or to sit down. It’s become a favorite pit stop for my wife and I between Boston and Pennsylvania. The best things here are Layla’s fries and the garlic sauce.
Prices : great
Portions : great
Taste : amazing
In the area looking for a protein rich balanced meal. We were greeted with a smile and immediately helped. Authentic Flavors and great variety of items. We tried the kibbeh and ordered 1 Laylas Shawarma Platter with doubkr meat. The portions were perfect. I have not tried fresher Mediterranean food in the US so far. The kibbeh, melted in my mouth and was made perfectly showing the distinction between bulgur and the meat. The platters flavors were on point.
Oh and the aubergine dip was so tasty! Ps it has a kick to it!!
Definitely will return and recommend to anyone in the area.
We had a fantastic experience here. The girl at the counter was helpful in helping us order. We had the beef platter, spicy eggplant, chicken shwarma wrap, zaatar pie and the meat pie. Everything was delicious. Food came out fast which was great as we were hungry. Everything was delicious! There seemed to be many vegetarian options but they were also halal so that was great. I would highly recommend.
We have always heard great things about Layla’s Falafel, so we were thrilled when we finally had the opportunity to stop at their Stamford location. In just a couple bites, we knew they were high in the ranks of the middle eastern spots we’ve dined at in the state! The lamb was so tender in the Shish kabob platter, and the hummus and garlic dip were both so flavorful. I loved the Layla’s bowl option, where I ordered the “shwafel” - half falafel, half chicken shawarma. The prices were reasonable, and the staff brought out our food so quickly. No frills, just good food! We will definitely be back!
