My son has been going for over a year now. He started in tiny tigers and justed moved on to the big kids class. He has found something he loves to do and it helps with focus, along with discipline. All the teachers are very helpful and he just loves Ms Rigby.
Although others have had different experiences than my own, I would say that Rigby's is the best place to learn Isshinryu Karate (other than going to Okinawa, of course).

The other review isn't very accurate, Rigbys Karate academy is actually a very serious, professional place to train, the instructor (Reese Rigby) is a grand master in the art, and all the knowledge he will pass onto you about self defense is so amazing, I've been training there for about six years and I've learned so much and I feel very confident in defending myself if I were to get into a real situation. Great place, great instructor, great self defense.
