I've had them fix things for me never a problem. I've seen their other customers leave happy.
There may be more to a story.
I've seen customers refuse services because expensive and only want the bare minimum fixed. Even after telling them it'll only be like a bandaid, they think it'll last forever.

Photos around my dad's shop, 1987-1998

I went thru my old non-digital scanned photos, picking out photos of my dad's shop. Whenever any of us went home, it was always interesting to see what the latest project was in the workshop. These were pre-digital photos.

Repairing a drawer front

Because it's far from my shop, I used my dad's workshop. I jigged up the drawer on the sled of his Felder table saw to make the diagonal cut. The drawer, and the whole kitchen fronts were made from Hemlock. I couldn't find any of that wood in my dad's shop.

Old videos from dad's workshop

When I posted the old photos of my dad's shop, I noticed that a lot of people clicked on them to enlarge, so I figured some of you might be curious to see more. This was the only furniture project that my dad and I ever worked on together. I guess we are both fairly solitary workers.

My dad is a missing person and was featured on Unsolved Mysteries...

When we questioned my dad about the stories, he was like, "that's not true. none of that is true." So that's the memory I have of this guy and the only one I The friend that was there (with his kid) in my dad's shop when the call came in said he thought it was a woman based on how my dad was talking.
