I've had two children attend Kidz Ink over the past 5 years. I have always been very happy with the staff and Directors. If anyone has had an infant they know Ms. Bea. She's worked for Kidz Ink for over 10 years, which I loved. That showed me that there was some consistency. My oldest was in the Pre-Kindergarten program with Ms. Evelyn and had some contact with Ms. Marva. These two teachers are not only loving but they are truly passionate about the children being ready for Kindergarten. I wouldn't have my children attend anyplace else!
Lisa Riley: Kidz Ink gave Mrs. Riley 2 free weeks of care plus removed her late fees for those weeks, however this wasn't good enough. On 5/11/17 Mrs. Riley owed Kidz Ink $285.50 and we told her we would just apply her $175 deposit and Kidz Ink would waive the $110.50 balance. A far cry from the greed she is referring to. In all Kidz Ink has given Mrs. Riley $460.00 worth of free care as a way to work with her. Unfortunately, she has chosen to still post a negative review. Also, Kidz Ink is a Star 5 center. The highest quality rating you can receive and 50% of our staff have degrees, which is something that isn't required but we believe in going above and beyond in providing our parents with qualified staff. In fact one of the teachers in Mrs. Riley's sons classroom has a degree in Early Childhood Education. Kidz Ink just recently went through an "unannounced" Licensing Inspection and received a perfect inspection from the State of Delaware's Office of Child Care Licensing.
In response to Ms. Shavanna Stocker. As an owner I contacted Ms. Stocker on 5/21/15, 5/25/15 and 7/14/15, offering her a spot in our Infant classroom. She turned it down. I also tried to explain that the $75 Registration fee was not a deposit, but a non-refundable Registration fee, which it clearly states on three separate places of her paperwork that she signed. It is disheartening that a parent would post a negative review now for something that I tried to rectify 14 months ago. I make every effort to see to it that our parents are happy and satisfied.
