Wilmington Airport

Great runway and taxi ways. Towered field with ok controllers, all I can say is, "how dare you ask for a progressive taxi." Atlantic aviation is by far the best FBO on the field. They have coffee!!! They have great on the spot maintenance if you need it. Had to pick up O2 and oil change while in transit. They got it done PDQ. Caution that the president has TFR's that pop up, you can still fly in just know your procedures.

Large, spacious terminal, parking is $5.00 per day, accessed by a four-lane highway, and served by two DART bus routes.

Airport is a nice place to take a plane it's the only thing is they only have planes leaving out only on Thursday and Friday and Saturday

Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Staff was very friendly. Had a problem with the heater. It would work for a few minutes and then it would blow cold air. This happened Friday night and the beginning of Saturday night. But then overnight Saturday night it worked perfect. Also be careful in the shower because when my wife got her shower the water all of a sudden would get very hot and then it would get very cold. Apparently others in that building were using the shower at the same time and that may have affected the water temperature. But usually buildings like that have some type of system that prevents that from happening. Grab & Go breakfast was nice. Good selection of pastries,, oatmeal and fruit.. Hot coffee and hot chocolate available. Also juice. Covid restrictions of course prevent them from having their normal nice breakfast. But that's to be expected no matter where you go. Overall I feel it was a very comfortable and cost-effective stay. Will definitely stay here again.

Came here in 2013 and now going to Orlando. This airport easy access! Plenty of parking however this time around 5 dollars a day parking which is still a good price! Lobby is clean and well kept along with being comfortable could use a few more seats! The airport is on the older side but nice place to catch a flight! Avis car rental is inside the lobby off to the side! Enjoy flying from here a little more then Philly smaller and more comfortable!
