Very nice. The new walkway is a perfect addition. The staff at the Center were very knowledgeable and friendly.
A sizable nature center, with a variety of activities and programs offered. Rental of bikes, canoes, and kayaks also available. Excellent accessible hiking trail.
Great area to get out for a walk. Not enough parking at the Refuge, but the Riverfront parking area is nearby. A very popular place now that the Jack Markel Trail is now open, which goes from the city of New Castle to the Wilmington Riverfront.
It was a beautiful day and the surroundings matched. The landscaping was gorgeous. I loved the nature center and the guides. It is truly a great place for spending the day.
This is a great place to get a closer look at the marshes you can see from I-95. The DuPont Environmental Education Center has great exhibits, programs, and events. Definitely worth a trip to explore.
