Good food at reasonable prices. I would recommend vindaloo (chicken/shrimp) and goat biryani if you are looking for non veg items, shrimp vindaloo was spicy. Thali is a great option if you are open to tasting more than 2-3 curries. The staff was friendly, restrooms were clean. However because of my personal bias, i didn’t like food serving style in a to go box. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting DC.
Great food - we especially enjoyed the special - lamb Kema biryani. Full bar and lots of options.
For once no food photos - it smelled and was so delish that we scarfed it down too fast!
We had no problem with food being served in Togo containers but metal silverware (versus plastic) for those eating in the restaurant would improve on the experience and let me even more enjoy the great and tasty food.
Looks like most customers order to go (although we came here late on a week day so maybe more of a mix on weekends?).
Great food, great ambiance in an affordable family owned restaurant. I ordered the non veg thali that comes with 2 non-veg and 3 veg items plus a traditional indian roti. And the food was undoubtedly delicious.
Excellent, affordable Indian food. They have options for vegans, vegetarians, and meat eaters. The customer service is excellent. The gentleman at the cashier offered great suggestions, so don’t hesitate to ask for advice. We had one fish plate, one fish appetizer, and several veggie sides. Total cost with mango lassie was about $50.
