(November 28, 2019, 12:48 pm)Less than 6 months after FAI surgery and I’m already able to mountain bike again! Looking forward to snowboarding soon as well ??
3 months out, I was already skateboarding. Nothing crazy though... just manuals and pushing around a smooth outdoor rink regular and switch.
I do get some tightness in my glut and abs on the operative side after heavy activity, which thankfully my girlfriend massages out for me about once a week. Also, can’t comfortably sit cross-legged with my operative side leg underneath yet, but it seems to get a little bit better every week.
But again... only less than 6 months into a typical 6-12 month recovery and I'm already able to ride my mountain bike (on rough terrain too... Frederick Watershed) as well as do yoga again. Can’t really ask for more than that!
It really does feel like Scott and his associates gave me my life back and I couldn’t be more grateful!
Will definitely go here again once I can afford to get the other hip done. (Luckily, that one’s not as bad and I probably have a couple years before it really starts causing problems.)
Always had a good experience at my follow up appointments as well.

(September 5, 2019, 3:07 am)Dr. Faucett and all the members of his support staff are skillful, efficient, very pleasant, give one confidence. I had questions before and after the surgery and they were answered promptly and fully. Very important for the patient facing major surgery.

(July 15, 2019, 5:23 pm)Staff is very courteous and patient. Doctors and Physicians Asst are very kind thorough and always willing to teach and answer questions. I love the learning packet sent to me via email it was very helpful. Never a long wait like some specialty offices.

(March 27, 2019, 4:31 pm)Dr. Faucett is an amazing surgeon and a very nice, down to earth friendly person. I’ve had two hip replacements done by Dr. Faucett. The first one was a complete success and I’m recovering very well from the second one which was done six days ago. I refer all my friends and family to him without hesitation. He’s a superstar! And his assistant Dr. Weiss is excellent.
