I had a really great experience at the student health center, the provider I had, Kenneth Moon, ensured that I understood everything he told me, and made me feel very comfortable! The technicians are also very kind and were helpful through the blood work process.
I felt like I needed to leave a review because all the reviews here were so horrible. I had no issues at my appointment today. I called right when they opened to get a swollen eye checked out and they had plenty of open same day appointments for me. I was on hold for maybe 5 minutes. The front desk staff were not exactly warm and friendly but they were efficient and respectful. I was seen on time by a very kind nurse Dorothy, and my physician was excellent in giving me instructions, making sure I got a follow up appointment with her on a day that worked for me and even went as far of giving me her personal number to call/text if my symptoms got worse or changed before my follow up. I don’t understand the negative reviews here. Don’t expect to get lollipops and stickers and tons of smiles, but I truly had a nice experience with all the staff there.
I’m a student at GU and now a patient and I have to say Everyone is great here! Starting from the front desk they are concise and professional. They have even upgraded the check in process by making it digital...Very efficient! Meanwhile the medical staff I thought were excellent and truly cared about me and my prognosis! Specifically, Nurse Ronda and Dr Lash- They truly cared about my outcome and did a great job treating me! In fact today marks 1 week since I first went in for medical help! And now I feel myself again-All Thanks to their help! Also as a side note, I picked up my prescriptions at the Medstar pharmacy on campus at the hospital-they were great as well! So overall I have 5 stars for a fast check-in, friendly and professional staff at the front desk, and an Excellent, kind and sincere Medical staff (Dr Lash and Nurse Ronda). 5/5 !
