  My family and I did a sunset cruise on the Nightingale. The cruise was perfect. Nice tour on the way down the Potomac and serenity on the way back. The boat was comfortable, had great amentities and great for the whole group.

  We did the 9am timeslot which was great bc there were no lines and not a whole lot of people, quite yet. Security area was the only place that required a mask. Didn't have to wear one when on the ferry, Ellis island, nor Liberty Island. If you get a snack on Liberty Island watch out for the birds, they have no fear and will take food right off your plate! It was a great tour and would highly recommend it!

  This was an awesome experience for all ages. Multiple seating options and even an indoor option with AC and a little snack station and bathroom. Nice way to charter to Alexandra and the wharf if you want to avoid paying for multiple parking at different locations from the harbor and it gives you extra ways to explore the area. The staff was amazing and very knowledgeable. We even bumped into the captain he was very funny.

  Frank, Captain Bill and the Crew made my 50th birthday cruise a wonderful celebration! I did a private charter and my friends loved the 2 hour cruise! I was allowed to bring food and bottled water. I made a playlist that we all dance to, and the music level was perfect! It was such a fun, memorable birthday! Cruising by DC, the Kennedy Center, monuments and the wharf was wonderful, and seeing the beautiful sunset from the boat was gorgeous! I would definitely recommend Capital River Cruise!

  Chartered a vessel for 3 hours for our activity the day after our wedding for our guests. Communicating with Frank was relatively easy as he was very honest and clear about the entire reservation process and costs. Frank will usually return calls or emails within a few days which was fine for us. The Captain and crew for our tour were excellent with all of our guests and handled the kids on board very well. The cruise was perfect and exactly as described. They let us play our own music since we rented the entire vessel. Dogs are allowed on the vessel which was so helpful and nice for us. Boarding/deboarding was easy even with elderly guests. Bathrooms are available on the vessel and were very clean. Zero complaints. Our tour went exactly as we planned and was a perfect way for us to end our wedding weekend with our guests. We had them dock in Alexandria which costs an extra $300 due to Alexandria Marina's docking fee but that's where we needed to start and end from so we did it. 3-hour minimum, which is fine and understandable. Whether you start/end in Georgetown or Alexandria, where they dock is right in the heart of everything so there's so many cool places to walk to from the start/end point. Highly recommend and I'll miss conversing with Frank.
