A must see at night. You truly get the feeling of all these troops attempting to quietly slog through the swamps without alerting the enemy.
Amazing, powerful images... Must be seen after dark for full effect. Ghostly soldiers washing through a field with many other ghostly images behind them
This place is a great tribute to those that served. The memorial is particularly beautiful at both sunrise and sunset. Walking around the memorial gives you a different angle with each step
Visually stunning. I went early in the morning when no one else was around and it was flooring. Such a great memorial — a hidden gem! Definitely take a look before/after the Lincoln memorial. If you’re not taken aback by it all, you’re definitely not lookin close enough.
Visited the Korean War Memorial again recently and enjoyed seeing this monument during the spring when the surrounding trees were full, offering a more attractive background for viewing the monument compared winter time visits.
This is one of several important and impressive war memorials near the west end of The Mall. It is provocative monument, featuring 19 soldiers with full gear, spread in formation. It is nice composition and really nice to see when The Mall trees are flush with green. This really brings out the beauty of this particular monument.
Given its proximity to the Lincoln Memorial & Reflection Pool, Vietnam and World War II monuments, you should expect to see lots of other people during your visit. Give this one 10 minutes of your time at least before moving on to other intended monument visits in the area. Don't hesitate to spend longer if this is an important monument to you personally.

The memorial's mural wall measures 164 feet long and eight inches thick, and from a bird's eye view, the wall appears as an isosceles triangle, with the tip intersecting a circle over the Pool of Remembrance.
