Great location. Beautiful views. Personal and caring service. Still, a quite new hotel offering fresh rooms including, views of the wharf and Potomac. Take the room package with the fantastic breakfast buffet.
The location, rooms, and staff were all top notch!
From the moment I walked through the front door, the staff was amazing; friendly, professional, and welcoming. The check in process was very smooth, and there is self parking less than 100 yards away.
The room, a river view, was spectacular! It had all the trimmings you’d expect, but the view stole the show! We could stand on the balcony and see the cherry blossoms in the tidal basin, the river, and the gold course. Truly fantastic!
The location is great, with lots of nice dining options, and an easy walk to the National Mall.

I have to say as a first-time guest at the Intercontinental but a long time visitor of the Southwest area DC this is above and beyond the best hotel that have ever stayed at on the waterfront. Everything from the customer service before you even get to the hotel, is just excellent and above & beyond.

I asked for a picture of harambe place by my bedside and the hotel what's more than happy to oblige, they actually had a good kick out of it and allowed me to keep it. they have a fantastic restaurant in room service, they have one of the best spas and DC on third floor of the hotel and you're in walking distance from every popular location on the Southwest. 6 out of 5 Stars definitely going to be my go-to hotel from now on when I'm in town for a game or pleasure
We just came home from a one night stay for my daughter’s 9th birthday. Every single staff member the entire time went out of their way to greet us, open doors , or just see if need anything. This staff went above and beyond. Clean , organized , and friendly. We will be back !!!!
