  Our AC Unit purchased with the house in 2013 failed without warning due to excessive corrosion from well water and living on a canal. Given the condition, it probably should have failed sooner. The unit we were replacing was a very efficient heat pump and we didn't want to go with something less efficient. We ended up going with a Trane SEER 21.5 variable speed, 3 ton Heat Pump outside and a new Variable Speed Air Handler inside, with a very trick 7" touch screen smart T-stat inside.
  Eddie the project manager was very knowledgeable and pre-planned the entire job before his crew ever showed up. The crew was very professional as well, and answered any questions we had during the install. All old equipment was removed (and hauled off) without any damage to our home. The new equipment was installed and working before they left at the end of the day. They also had a checklist to sign off at the end of the day to verify to my satisfaction that the work was installed and working properly.
  We had multiple bids for the work which were all competitive. The deciding factor for us was the extended warranty period and the ability to have labor included with future repairs if necessary. They also provided a permit from the county which passed with no problems, and surge protection on both units. I would definitely recommend Merritt Island Air & Heat for anyone looking for a good quality job in the future.

  This was the first time that I had service with the company. They responded immediately.The technician name Dalton was great and and we'll experience. I would use their service in the future. Very satisfy.

  Absolutely recommend this company. Professional and timely. Thomas has been my technician and he is awesome. Thomas goes into detail with any problems or issues and gives suggestions on how to take care of the system. I would highly recommend this guy for any job that needed to be done.

  The technician Ben was awesome. He did a thorough job servicing my A/C unit and air handler. He was very knowledgeable , professional and courteous. I highly recommend this company. My A/C is spinning like a top again. Thank you Ben !

  Thank you Ryan at Merritt Island Air & Heat. Thank you Kathy and Hayden too. We bought our home in Cocoa Beach in 2018. The summer of 2019, the hottest one on record, our AC decided it was going to have problems. Luckily, Kathy helped make sure we were still covered under the warranty for the unit that was installed by a local, defunct competitor in 2015. Ryan and Hayden serviced and tested the unit a couple of times (plugged drain lines, tested for a small coolant leak), before we finally had to replace the leaky coil. Ryan removed the oil coil from the air handler, and husband reworked the plenum and the return air box below the air handler. Ryan came back and did a fabulous job of reinstalling a new coil, reattaching the lines, charging the unit and did such a neat and complete job. Ryan, Kathy and Hayden are all professional and courteous every time we have interfaced with them. I highly recommend the Merritt Island Air & Heat.
