Hook and Eagle Tavern

We have been going to another local golf course restaurant for burgers and wings, so we decided to try this one too! They also have a smashburger night, so we all ordered them. They were super yummy, very juicy and come with 2 patties! A very good bargain for the price. We sat on the outside patio, comfortable chairs, great view of the driving range and a small lake, lovely and relaxing.
Unfortunately not a huge selection of draft beers, but they also have a full bar and wine. Service was a little slow on drink refills, but our server was very friendly. We will definitely be back, especially with the nice fall weather!

Tonight was our first visit to Hook and Eagle. I read the reviews and checked out the menu online before going. We were not disappointed. Our server was great, and the food was delish! I loved the chicken and waffles, and my wife said that the burger lived up to the hype. There are great views of the golf course, and we were there just breathe sunset, so we spent a little extra time, just enjoying. There is a full liquor bar (I’m sure that is a given, since this is at a golf course). We will be back, and will bring our kids, and grandkids, but we will probably time it so there is no live music when we have a larger group, since it was kind of loud and hard to have a conversation during the songs.

It’s a Great local spot. We have been enjoying the views here for sure!
Food wise, their speciality is burgers so everything else is going to be hit or miss.

Mac n cheese is great, too.

Shrimp and grits were delicious, the grilled chicken in the salad was burnt yet undercooked. Did get a replacement for the protein which was nice.. but still..

Burgers are good. Flavorful smash burgers. Only a little dry on my. Did mushroom burger and burger with fried onions bacon cheese. Got the wings to go. Wings are awesome! Will definitely buy the wings again plus the price of them was not outrageous.

This place is THE best in the area when it comes to burgers. Their burgers are SO GOOD. ❤ If you love an awesome deal, Thursday nights are burger nights. Burgers for $6, and you can add all the toppings you want, for a little extra, of course. But even if you add an extra $2 for toppings, it's really worth it. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. Their desserts are also made fresh daily. I've had their mixed berry cobbler, which was fantastic. Tonight, we had the deep fried snickers (picture added), and it was AMAZING. I give Hook & Eagle Tavern ten stars, really. We're already considering coming back for brunch on a Sunday. ❤ Staff is very attentive and sweet. Family-friendly atmosphere, and a great view of the golf course.
