My first appoinment with her and she made me feel very comfortable
Dr. Taival is phenomenal and saved my life! I saw her for the 1st time on January 31, 2019 to see about having a Hysterectomy. She ordered some test which 2 came back normal and 1 abnormal. We then discussed more test options to see what this abnormal artifact was and she ordered a CT scan. The CT scan revealed a large mass on my right kidney. At this time I was a complete mess! She was so understanding and gave me some great 1st hand advice (which was it's not cancer until they say it's cancer and to always live everyday to the fullest.) She then referred me right over to a urologist who was also amazing. The urologist reached out to some colleagues to review the scan and they advised not to do a pre-op biopsy and to get me scheduled to do the surgery as soon as possible because it was cancerous! His colleagues then asked who found this and how did they find it) ( I was told in most cases by the time this is caught the results are not always favorable). After discussing options with the urologist and being medically cleared I had robotic surgery On March 26, 2019. The mass was removed by doing a partial kidney nuphrectomy. Surgery went well and I was back working 2 weeks later. The biopsy revealed I had Stage 1 clear cell renal cell carcinoma. NOT ALL HEROS WEAR CAPES!! MY HERO WEARS SCRUBS AND HER NAME IS DR. TAIVAL!!! THANK YOU DR. TAIVAL!!!
Dr. Taival is the best. She is smart and a very good doctor. She takes the time to talk to you and explain everything. She delivered my nieces baby. I would recommend Dr. Taival.
