Michael was quick to respond to all my messages, always attentive to details, explains everything clearly for the insurance side of how things work and highly professional in all our meetings/interaction. I also had some interaction with "Lou" the President who was amazing! Horizon has your best interest in mind and will look out for you! I would highly recommend anyone calling them if you've suffered a loss.
Going through the loss or damage of a home can be a frustrating and overwhelming experience. Especially when you know very little about insurance, home repairs, and dealing with lawyers. Because of this lack of knowledge and inexperience I found it necessary to hire a public adjuster. It was then that I turned to Horizon Public Adjusters. After my insurance company had presented me with a quote that wouldn't cover even half of my repairs, I didn't know where else to turn. I had the opportunity to talk to Lou DePrima of Horizon and I finally found someone who was knowledgeable, fair, and communicative. As anyone knows, dealing with insurance companies on your own can be slow, tedious, and frustrating, however, once I spoke with Louis a quieting calm came over me.
Mr. DePrima assured me he would talk to the insurance company and handle my claim. Once I turned it over to him I found him to be everything you would hope for in a Public Adjuster. After any communication he had with the insurance company he would call me and let me know the status of my claim. When he had questions, he called and we were able to discuss. I have never dealt with someone that I felt took a personal interest in my home issues.
I would highly recommend working with Horizon. Issues with your home can be frustrating and aggravating, but when you have someone like Louis DePrima working on your case, it makes life a lot easier to deal with.
