I first visited Regina to see if she could help with my sciatica pain that had grown out of my straining my back while golfing. I had been to a chiropractor multiple times and had even gotten Chiroractic massages in attempt to alleviate the pain. Regina started by working on my breathing and posture and had me stretch on machines and use all of the small muscles that hold my core in place. Within a matter of weeks my sciatica pain disappeared. I was able to immediately work on expanding and contracting my rib cage as she changed my breathing pattern. Now I know to lengthen my spine, stretch in the few simple exercises she has me doing at home, which take only a few minutes each day.
I was not aware of the benefits of this type of exercise. I am very pleased with the results. Regina has a high degree of knowledge about body structure and is able to almost immediately discern what is wrong and provide solutions that are immediately helpful. I highly recommend Regina B. Pilates to anyone at any stage of physical ability and experience!
