  We had the 10 course meal for two. All the dishes were excellent! Pavlo was a great server and he offered great recommendations while were selecting our 10 plates.

  I took a friend of mines for the first time.. It was okay. I thought they would have a little more to offer for my first time. And all the money we spent no appetizers to make us want to come back. They just thought we had money to spend..

  Fresh sushi, sashimi, and small plate options. Cool atmosphere. Large selection/offerings. Conveniently located within the The Diplomat Beach Resort hotel. Kinda pricey but worth it.

  Delicious food with wide variety. The restaurant is a whole experience, the waiter explains the menu, and is very attentive. Definitely reccomend.
  Also pretty low price

  Good place to savor on Japanese small plates. Everything was fresh and tasteful, except for the chicken skewer, which was a bit dry.
  Menu options are abundant... and pricey! I would suggest to have a menu when one can mark their choices on, which will save time and pressure. Because of the many options, it's hard to remember which items to you've picked, so while the waiter is waiting on you to flip the pages back and forth, it creates unnecessary pressure to just pick something to excuse the waiter and saves time.
  
  Also note, gratuity is already included in your bill, which was not mentioned anywhere. I personally don't appreciate such establishments that secure the gratuity and take it for granted. I believe they should earn it first and let us, the customers, decide.

Monkitail is located inside to the right of the Diplomat resort. Have your car parked by valet and make sure to get your ticket validated by the hostess. I visited Monkitail with a friend to try the Chef's tasting menu and everyone we encountered had such a great attitude and truly enhanced our experience.
