Alvaro Garcia MD General and Colorectal surgery

Dr. Garcia is great swiftly scheduled me to have a small lipoma removed. The whole process was very quick due to COVID 19 protocol at Hospital. I applaud all his Staff they are very professional and kind. Blessings and good things!

I started having consistent abdominal pain and heartburn and through online reviews chose Dr. Garcia. I couldn't have made a better choice. His office staff is fantastic (shout out to Barbara and the other staff) and they worked to get me in quickly for a tele-visit during COVID a few days later.

Dr. Garcia spent tons of time discussing with me my symptoms and reviewing previous medical history to ensure he had a complete view of my symptoms and decided to perform a HIDA scan of my gallbladder because he thought he noticed something on my CT (which I'll point out other doctors had said was normal). Dr. Garcia's hunch turned out to be correct and my gallbladder was operating at a very low percentage. Surgery went fantastic, no abdominal pain, and super minimal scarring at the tiny incisions a few weeks in.

Dr Garcia is an amazing Doctor. My mother-in-law Gaby Gascon was diagnosed with Cancer and from the very beginning he made her feel as if she were part of his family. He inspires his patients to communicate their fears and concerns while helping them relax with his wit and humor. He thoroughly explained the procedures and process and provided a level of compassion, comfort and reassurance that made her feel at ease prior to and after the surgery.
She is extremely grateful for Dr Garcia and for choosing him as her surgeon. She is beyond satisfied with the results. The office staff is amazing. They are friendly, courteous, attentive and will try to accommodate patients to the best of their ability. During her office visits she always feels as if she were at home.

Dr. Garcia was a godsend in a moment of great uncertainty. After my mom was diagnosed with a malignant tumor of the colon, we had to find a surgeon in a hurry. The moment Dr. Garcia stepped into the room he put us at ease with his very approachable manner and knowledge. His support and expertise throughout this ordeal meant the world to us and greatly contributed to my mom’s positive state of mind and quick recovery. We could not have asked for anyone better. Not only is he a top medical professional in his field but -in the words of my mom- he is an excellent human being who cares for his patients. We are deeply grateful to Dr. Garcia and his staff for their care and service to us.
