If Doctorates were given in auto metal fabrication, Dr. Dano would be Professor of Muscle Car Repair and Economics. In an age when most body shops blindly follow insurance company protocols, simply replacing entire car sections like tinker toys, the art of skillfully welding and nuancing a vehicle’s sheet metal by hand has all but vanished. Dano still practices this lost art. Like the classics he helps restore, he’s an American one-off. An original. He even still makes house calls! He’s a steady operator that took an almost forensic approach to discovering my car’s particular repair needs. He has a unique perspective with almost spiritual insight into his craft. He tackled the toughest part of the job with one fell swoop, and made the rest look easy. All of this after one body shop guy after the next told me to ditch or sell … ride her into the dirt till the wheels fell off … or come up with a ransom of cash. Dano is honest, fair, and reasonable. All rare qualities nowadays. He also understands the repair regimen appropriate to a given vehicle’s proportional value. Dano is a great guy very easy going and had great communication though the whole job. hired him to repair some rot on my 442 and he did not disappoint very knowledgeable and takes pride in doing the job correct. he treated my car like it was his own and cared about the little details so people wouldn't be able to tell it was repaired. The best part he came to me so no need to trailer my car to some shop so I could get the run-a-round for months. A+ workmanship

Dan is the man! I hired him to repair holes and rust on my 1977 bed, he did an amazing job on it! I also had a cab for the 77 ford that I was planning on scrapping because of the rust on the roof and didn’t think it could be fixed, Dan cut and welded new metal in no time and saved the cab. The man knows rust and how to get rid of it! What I really like about Dan, he is on time, does what he says he’s going to do, he explains with detail on what he will do and is doing. My 95 Jeep Cherokee needed some tender loving care and I was fortunate to have Dan recommended to me. He was courteous, honest and of great integrity.
