The overall experience I had was good but some things could be improved. For instance, when you walk into the door for the emergency room and imaging, it is not clear where you should go for outpatient registration. I saw a receptionist desk to the right of me but no one was sitting there. There were also glass booths with numbers on them but none of them said "registration." I asked the lady in one of the booths where to go and she said, "You're in the right place!" and got me registered. It turns out, I was not the only one who is confused. I saw at least 2 other people while waiting who did the same thing. They don't have a sign or anything showing where to go.

Also, my appointment for imaging was at 3pm and I arrived early for registration as requested. I was not called back until 3:20pm. There was hardly anyone in the waiting area so I'm not sure what the hold up was.

When I got back to the room for the actual scan, the tech was very helpful in making sure I was comfortable and arranged pillows under my arms, head, and ankles as I would be laying on my stomach for 35 minutes with my right hand trapped in the cage. It is a requirement to wear earplugs for the MRI as it is VERY loud - louder than most MRI machines I've been in. If you are very sensitive to noise, this could be a problem. I am somewhat claustrophobic, too, and made her aware of this, but it didn't seem to be a problem since my head was not in a cage but I still had to keep completely still, so I used a trick another tech taught me and closed my eyes which helped.

Overall, I'd use them again, but I would recommend making sure that people know where to go when they enter the door.
