This is an awesome park!!!
There are small and big camping spaces
I would suggest site 31 or 32
These sites are super close to restrooms and spacious
They are a bit close together but everyone does their own thing
They have water and electricity
I was told sites 50-60 did not have water or electricity but please double check this
The bathrooms where clean except a few bugs which is understandable
Do not leave the park without exploring around there is many things to do like walk the lake trails and enter the small swimming hole
There is also a stairway that leads to a small stream and the sights are beautiful
There are very beautiful cabins that you can reserve if camping is not for you
I hope this review clarifies many questions😃
Great time at our Couples Campout! Spent 3 nights here. Nice walking trails. Clean bathhouse and good customer service. Spot number 34 is the best for large groups! But they also have a group camping area. We didn't know that before booking. But had a great time!
We had our first cabin stay here. A clean and well-maintained cabin with nice lake views is such a treat! Hope to go back to finish all the trails. We enjoyed our walk around the lakes.
It is a beautiful State Park with lots to do. Cost to enter is $5 to spend the day. There is a couple lakes and a swimming area, multiple trails, picnic tables, cabins to rent, RV and primitive campsites. The trail loop I did was extremely flat and easy at .75 miles. I visited in winter and it was not busy at all. Hardly anyone was there (the campgrounds had a decent amount of folks, though.) I would recommend for any easy day hike experience.
