Roderick's family Martial arts oakleaf is absolutely amazing!!! My son loves doing karate here. They are always very helpful if needed and this is a great facility for kids all the way to adults!!!! So you can do it with your kids. If your looking for a martial arts place go to Roderick's family Martial arts they have 3 soon to be 4 locations. Oakleaf, blanding and Fleming island. Love this place!!!

The instructors are amazing with my twins. One has a disability and they dont treat her any different. She is getting stronger. Both my twins have more confidence now as well as determination. Now they both want to be Karate Instructors when they grow up.

Our son has been attending since November 2021 and he absolutely loves it, his discipline and control have grown tremendously. Their gym is a family, one that greets others with open arms. Highly recommend, and be sure to ask about after school care which we rate an A+++++!

My daughter's just started and her experience at Roderick's Family Martial Arts has been wonderful. The team offered one complimentary class to see if she would enjoy it. There was no pressure or sales pitch to join and we signed up right after her first class. We received her uniform on our next session two days later. Price wise, I think that they are competitive with the other martial arts studios around town. The class schedules are super flexible and meet the needs of busy parents throughout one's work week.

What I've observed as a parent is that all the instructors hold all their students accountable while treating them with dignity and respect. The staff is very cognizant to divide the classes by skills and ages for a little more intimate class training. There are some adults who train at the times we attend and the staff navigates through that breakout with ease. They teach some fundamentals and the students get to utilize what they learned during some sparring sessions. I see that they are making strides by helping students build self-confidence while simultaneously making necessary on the spot behavioral and martial arts technique corrections. Make no mistake, you'll learn martial arts while learning self-discipline.

Bottom line- friendly and invested people in a great martial arts learning atmosphere!

We have our two boys and our niece attending this school. Every single member of the staff is professional and great with communicating, instructing and guiding the kids.

We have different goals for the kids including weight loss, gaining focus, discipline and following instructions and our kids 4, 8 and 9 have flourished.

They also do parent’s night out events. The kids have lots of fun and the wife and I get to be kid free for a few hours.

My wife also attends free monthly boot camps where she gets a great workout.

I highly recommend this school.
