  Must go! Call ahead to schedule a viewing of their works and projects, or come out to their varied pop-up shows. This non-profit gallery is owned by two fabulously talented and creative people whose works, from books to paintings, I highly recommend to all. They also do so much for the community as well as the region’s artists and schools., it is truly admirable, and not surprising they have been awarded recognition for this.

  I’ve attended several shows and purchased pieces at Word Revolt Art Gallery. Teresa’s paintings are gorgeous representations of our local maritime woods and marshes. She’s also a tremendous advocate for artists both local and remote, and has facilitated my meeting with two artists to purchase their work. Great little space and a good venue for shows; love what the Rykaczewskis have done there.

  Love Word Revolt! It's a small gallery with a HUGE heart! Todd and Theresa are amazing owners and artists in their own talent (Todd is a writer and Theresa a painter). They provide a gallery to artists, local and worldwide, at NO fee. It's a great environment to get started but to come back to time and time again. They have a variety of exhibits ranging from solo, themed exhibitions to contest exhibitions so be on the look out for what's next. They are involved with local universities, students and officials helping make Mayport and Atlantic beach have more artistic presence. And as a bonus there's outdoor murals that bring color and energy to this location and a great place for a random photoshoot. As an artist, I have been involved in a few shows and just love the people!

  Word Revolt and the creatives behind this incredible art incubator and salon of ideas amaze me. WR provides a brick/mortar and online platform to encourage, exhibit and launch artists from a range of media while simultaneously making community exposure to inspiring pieces both local and international possible — a generous nonprofit worth a visit and your support.

  Once in a great while a gem like Word Revolt comes along. Todd and Theresa are not only amazing artists themselves but also have a passion to help other artists succeed. They are wonderful example in the community as people who give back, as successful business owners and just all around wonderful human beings. If you have the chance to visit I highly recommend it. You will not be disappointed.
