(August 5, 2022, 6:00 pm)From my first encounter with Dolphin Pointe, I was hopeful that this was the place for my father. A tour of the beautiful modern facility confirmed the comfort, cleanliness and safety that I had been searching for. I was encouraged by the numerous medical and ancillary staff who were busily caring for the patients and residents. Their compassion was evident. The multiple therapy services are just what my father needs (whether he wants to admit it or not). As a delicious bonus, the dining program offers a variety of quality menu options. Plus, the amenities and social programming encourage resident engagement and socialization, which is so important for the elderly. For the first time in many months, I was at peace with my decision to place my father in long-term care. He is now thriving as a long-term resident. As he approaches 90, he is stronger physically and more engaged than he has been in years. What more could I ask? Thank you, Dolphin Pointe!
