Maxi Auto Repair and Service - Hodges

Just moved here to Jacksonville from Chicago and my car wouldn’t start. I called Jeff from Maxi and he got my car in right away and was able to fix it the very next day and a very reasonable cost. He didn’t try to upsell me anything I didn’t need but gave me a good quote on some things that I do need fixed in the near future. If you are looking for an honest, great shop you can’t go wrong with Maxi!

Fast, friendly and affordable! I returned to Maxi for an oil change and leak after my dealership subjected me to long waits, no communication and constant pressure trying to sell me hundreds of dollars of services every time I went in for my “free” oil change. Maxi changed my oil, updated me within an hour on leak, completed everything within a couple hours and charged a lot less than the dealership quoted. Thanks!

They are the only mechanics I trust. So honest and hard working. Never selling me what I don’t need, all the repairs they have for in my car have been well done and accurate.

This garage has been in business for many years. My brother referred me and I've used them for 1-1/2 years. Both men I have dealt with in the office - Rueben and Jeff - are knowledgeable, experienced, patient and respectful to me as a single woman in explaining issues. They are helping me to maintain two cars with 170K+ miles on them and I trust their advice. They have never tried to "sell" me on a service or push me to set an appointment. They stay busy, I recommend calling to set an appointment. Their hours are better now for working folks to be able to make it on either end.

This is such a great company! This is the second time I have used them on my Nissan Murano and they have fixed the issue ASAP, at a good price. Ruben at the front desk is always easy going and explains everything in details. This is the only garage I go to when I need something done on my ride.
