Jacksonville Orthopaedic Institute Rehabilitation

I recently had surgery on my shoulder and had to go through rehab to get back to work. JOI had many outlets to choose from for my rehab which made it very easy to meet / keep appointments without having to drive a long ways to get there.

The people here are very friendly, and professional and treat each person uniquely according to their needs and the services are very personalized and don't leave you feeling like you are in a mass production environment where they are just trying to push people through for the money and numbers.

There were a few occasions where I had to cancel an appointment at the last minute and reschedule and they were very friendly and worked with me all the way to help me get my therapy in on my schedule with no hassles.

I would highly recommend JOI Rehab at the Main Street outlet for anyone finding themselves in a position to need rehab due to injuries or surgeries.

Genesis was my physical therapist for about eight weeks maybe a little bit more. He was phenomenal as I never thought my right shoulder would feel better again – my husband is now going to him for a frozen Shoulder on my recommendation. I will be having foot surgery sometime after the first of the year and hope that I can go back to him for the therapy that I will need as he was just 100% A+

I just graduated from rehab today, and I feel great! I had total knee replacement surgery in January, and I now have full movement of my leg, and I can ride my bike again.
Enough about the results, I'm here to give kudos to JOI. Both the surgery and the rehab went off as smoothly as I could imagine. I had about a week of in-home rehab, which was good, but JOI really impressed me with their professionalism and great attitude.
My therapist's name was Caitlin and I could not have had a better therapist. She has a great sense of humor and knows her job very well. I almost didn't want to finish rehab, because I liked it so much. After all, this is where I regained my motion.
The staff is very friendly and the therapists work together well. I wish all the best to JOI, and especially Caitlin.

I had a great experience at JOI North rehab center. The whole staff was very friendly and accommodating. The Reception staff of Janie and Chelsie were very helpful and always friendly each time I was at their facility.
The physical therapist I worked with Genesis Villanueva was knowledgeable and encouraging through the whole rehabilitation process. Physical therapy from a 3rd knee surgery was a lengthy process which actually became something I looked forward to participating in each day I was scheduled. Genesis remained positive even when I had a few setbacks during therapy but also remained honest with long term prognosis. I highly recommend him. The other therapist Justin and Amelia are helpful, personable, and professional as well. Overall I would recommend this facility to anyone.

The entire team of staff members were courtesy, polite and had a great sense of humor. Justin exceeded my expectations as a therapist and I was doing my therapy independently long before expected. He is knowledgeable and experienced. The office staff was friendly and always willing to work with my schedule, esp with last minute conflicts. They never gave me a hard time about canceling or rescheduling. They also took care of calling the insurance company to verify coverage.
