I wish I could give more stars. I made a mistake yesterday, cutting through 80% of my finger where the nail bed meets the finger, bone & all. Captain D.J. dropped what he was doing, rode with me & took really good care of me. I'm a talker, Captain D.J. seemed to understand where my mind was, helped me as I managed shock and didn't mind chatting with me as I worked through the different psychological levels of an injury. I believe our Pilot's name was Phillip, he didn't talk much but he piloted the Big Red 45 Ambo like a Boss NASCAR Rambo on Swan Lake. I also appreciated us joking at the intersections with red lights. Gentlemen what you may call just another day on the job, I call exceptional professionalism in civil service and the good stuff heroes are made of.
