The staff here are SO great!! They're able to maintain both professional/& kind-hearted attitudes that it typically takes to be able to deal with all of the many faces of addiction were now seeing in today's society (& most tend to be more difficult/tough personalities than not, & tend to go had-in-hand with alot of the more challenging social behaviors. An yet...the staff at TidesEdge does it just MARVELOUSLY! They treat the patient with compassion, & kindness... Which makes ALL OF THE DIFFERENCE!! I applaud Tides Edge & would highly recommend it to ANYBAN EVERY one considering the big leap of faith that sobriety offers.. you won't be sorry!

From the first phone calls to do my intake by John H. And Terresa I felt heard, welcomed, and reassured that the staff on site at Tides Edge Detox had the resources and expertise to enable smooth, medically assisted detox, followed by a five star level of treatment, that would allow me to get back on my feet living healthy, happy, and sober.
I received help with my flight from California to Florida, a ride from the airport to the facility, incredible treatment from Medical and support staff, catered meals, large flat screen TVs in the incredibly comfortable rooms, a case manager, therapist, yoga instructor, physical trainer, guided meditation, pickle ball, football, bad mitten and surfing, creative writing and art classes and so much more😇🧘♂️🧞♂️✍️🤝
If you’re serious about saving your life and having the tools Necessary in order to continue living your best life this is 100% the place for you. I honestly didn’t want to leave and made relationships I never could have dreamed of.

Man, did I not want to be here. I got dragged here basically kicking and screaming, but the staff made my stay supremely comfortable and made what could have been an utterly miserable experience pass almost enjoyably. I was in a bad way when I showed up, and the medical detox provided by highly trained doctors and nurses made sure that I felt very comfortable as I withdrew from all the substances I was on. I was provided with a thorough assessment, a clean bed and shower, good food, and a wonderful, wonderful therapist (seriously, she's so good she made me want to become a therapist). I was pretty out of it the first few days, but as I transitioned to the "residential" portion of programming, I was able to engage more with therapy and with the fellow residents. It's highly structured, but the staff go above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of! It really sets you up for success moving forward. Don't just stop at Tides though - move on to Beaches once you complete your detox!
Tides Edge made me feel comfortable and made me feel safe. Detoxing is not an easy thing to go through, but I never felt ill at all. My experience there was very positive. The staff was very knowledgeable and caring. If you’re looking for a place to medically detox, Tides Edge is the place that you’re looking for.
