Berean Assembly

How refreshing - a pastor that teaches and preaches with wisdom, stability, balance. From my perspective, he acknowledges and reinforces the importance of the gifts of the Holy Spirit while rejecting extremes and misuses. I am delighted to find a verse-by-verse teacher of God’s Word who also does not espouse cessationism. I plan to return and am grateful for the rich teaching and the welcoming congregation.

Such an amazing church with such friendly people and relevant passionate messages! My wife and I are a young couple that have made this church our home. We feel welcomed and loved. I can feel the lords presence every time I walk through the front doors. My wife and I aren’t going anywhere any time soon that’s for sure.

I know this church and its pastor very well. There are few other churches that adhere to the full Gospel as they do. Pastor Gary is a dear man of God, committed to Truth and who loves the people. You will find an excellent balance between sound doctrine and the practice of New Testament Christianity. I highly recommend this Berean Assembly.

I have been going to Berean Assembly for many years now. We belong to the Alliance of Biblical Pentecostals. Acts 17:10-11 says "And the brethren immediately sent Paul and Silas away by night to Berea; and when they arrived, they went into the synagogue of the Jews. Now these were more noble-minded than those in Thessalonica, for they received the word with great eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily, to see whether these things were so." This is what our church is all about. We believe in all the spiritual gifts of the believer that are manifested in our body of Christ thru true signs and wonders. We do not force God's hand, we alow His will to work among us. Pastor Gary always preaches the truth from the Word of God and always giving God all the Glory.

We visited today as our home church is in Crystal River and it’s Scallop Festival day. We really enjoyed the overall friendliness of the church but REALLY enjoyed the spiritual side. The pastor gave a very relevant sermon and is a good speaker. We will be back whenever we’re running late or unable to attend our home church. Glad to see a church that still has Sunday evening and Wednesday night services.
