Publix Super Market at Southshore Village

I always purchase my teacher planner here every school year. I can always count on this store to have anything I'm looking for in terms of my diy projects and my classroom. The sales associates are always super friendly and wonderful to talk to. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because of the pricing. It's SO expensive and I have to be honest about that. Other than that, it's a great store to shop at.

When my daughter, my nephew, and I went to visit the Michaels in Newport News near Patrick Henry Mall on July 8, 2022, around 7:35 pm, the most amazing thing happened to us. We were searching for some Chinese Lantern for my brother`s birthdate and asked this very nice lady by the name of Joanne did the store have any. Mrs. Joanne stated that the store doesn`t sell them. She then asked when I need them, and I told her today (which was the same day). Mrs. Joanne then said, "just stay right here". She returned back from her car with 9 Chinese Lanterns from her own private collection. I was so amazed and overjoyed by her extraordinary actions that my eyes started watering. Because it was hers (not from the store) that she gave me, I tried to pay her but, she would not take my money. I am truly grateful for Mrs. Joanne actions, and this is something that we will never forget. We were able to release the Chinese Lanterns later that night with pride and joy. May God bless her truly! I gave her all 5 stars!!!

I love this store. I have to put blinders on so I don't get more then I need. They had some super cute kitchen decorations this trip and I want it all lol. Go spend your money you will always find something to buy.

Great place for Creative projects Ideas and supplies. Sale every single week. And Great Deal s on the Michaels App as well. This place Really has Everything when comes Craft's work, school projects, Art work , Household and Holiday Decoration and Supplies

I went into the the store looking for cake pans. I didn't find the size I needed, but low and behold I found other sizes on the clearance rack. I also picked up some nice poster frames that was BOGO free. It definitely was a good day.

Really friendly staff. Good range of products, ok prices. You can order meats and fish that are not on display and the butcher's are really helpful.

Great store. Well organized, fully stocked. Great produce department filled with fresh vegetables, fruits, juices etc. Meat department will cut to order if requested. Publix stands alone when it comes to customer service. Mr Jenkins would be proud!
