Apollo Beach Preserve

This is a really nice place to enjoy the sunset, the only thing it could be challenging to get an spot in the parking lot. Also if you want to take nice pictures this a convenient place. Hope you enjoy as I do any time when I come here with my family

Good place to come to for fishing and walking around. Swimming is not allowed here for some reason, yet some people still do anyway. If you want a place to chill out for a while, this place is for you. We had breakfast here today. The Nature Trail is very nice. Other than that, there's not much else to do.

Love the beach period. Wish they'd redo the landscaping. My daughter is a landscaping architect and she would turn that place into a beautiful tourist site. They should get rid of weeds and add flowers or a few more palm trees. A small cafe or ice cream truck , even it it's on wheels. A small gift shop would also be cute and a boardwalk.

Awesome sunsets... Nice view of St Petersburg... This beach has been improved by the county during the last 12 months. It's sands look and feel cleaner than a year ago. Also, the county installed a nice viewing tower, which allows you to see the Gulf of Mexico in all its majestic beauty. It is a requirement to wear a mask while in the viewing tower. Remember, to keep social distance as well. Good for the whole family. However, it gets overcrowded during the sunset.

The park offers lovely views and great sunsets! For whatever reason, the park has closed off half of the parking spaces after the installation of the new observation tower. Not really sure why. They also closed off all the parking just outside the park thus limiting the amount of people who can visit :( If you are looking to swim, not your best choice but great for fishing.
