I highly recommend Tampa Bay Speech, Language and Reading Clinic. My daughter was not speaking at 22 months old and we started her at a different speech therapy clinic. The there therapist told me she had Moderate Apraxia and would only speak with the use of a communication device. My husband wasn’t happy with the clinic or our daughters progress there after six weeks and didn’t trust the diagnosis. He asked around and received high praise about Julie Kogut. After seeing our daughter a few times she told us that she was not apraxic. After a few short months my non verbal daughter was speaking in sentences. By 29 months old she “graduated” therapy and was three months AHEAD on expressive speech.

We also started my daughter in feeding therapy once she was caught up on speech as she was also having feeding issues. She had been seen for about 4-6 weeks at a different clinic between 18-19 months old for feeding issues but we didn’t see much progress. Within one month with Julie her feeding was so improved she no longer needed therapy. I know all this progress would not have happened if not for Julie. I can’t recommend her and her clinic highly enough and I will be forever grateful to her for helping my daughter.

Excuse me while I sob 💜. We began coming here with my son in March. He could not identify most letters and sounds when he began. He is reading more and more each day.

I cannot say enough good things about our experiences here, the hope that it has given me, and the confidence my son is gaining.

Julie worked with my son, Henry, for only a month, and the results were pretty impressive! Henry, 3 years old, has a great vocabulary, but struggled with the proper use of verbs. He is also a fast talker, so sentences just sounded like one long word. Henry's speech is now so much clearer, and friends and family alike comment on how much better he is doing. We're thankful to have found Julie and her team!
