Embracing Life Wellness Center - Dr. Melissa Fickey

I have been associated with them for about 2 years now, and I have found the office to be very professional, well run, prompt, and caring. I have been followed by Stephanie, and even though the Covid has forced zoom type meetings we have had some good deep discussions, and it’s easy to see she is genuine. I appreciate what they have to offer.

Coming from a previous provider, I can say that this team really knows what they're doing

1. My DR Stephanie is the BEST. She actually LISTENS, she ask lots of questions, she does not judge you. Stephanie is KINDHEARTED. She will do whatever she can or how ever long it takes to make sure she fully understand how you're feeling and what you need...She does not push meds you don't need.

2. I was treated with compassion, understanding, respect and care.

3. The team is very thorough... They call on time, they text, they follow through, they send their prescription refills ON TIME. No more waiting 2-3 days for my meds refill..

I would definitely recommend Stephanie and her awesome team!

I am a patient of Stephanie's and I've been seeing her since I moved to Tampa. From the day I began seeing her to today, I've made a lot of progress. They have a gentle and welcoming style that put me at ease as a patient, and Stephanie seems truly passionate about what she does. I'm grateful that she cares so much about helping each of her patients, and is so understanding of the struggles that come along with my disorders. For example, I work a chaotic schedule and have ADHD, so I can forget to make appointments until the last minute... this is something I'm working on, but they are always really understanding and accommodating. I feel like they are non-judgmental professionals who genuinely want to help. I also really love that they are doing tele-appointments, because I live further away so this helps my appointments fit into my schedule! Overall I am just very happy as a patient here and my mental health has absolutely improved under their care.

I was referred to Dr.Fickey from my son's pediatrician once he was diagnosed with ADHD/mood disorder. Both Dr.Fickey and her medical assistant (Brianna) have been fantastic in addressing my son's needs and MY concerns. Originally I was hesitant to put my young child on medication, but Embracing Life has improved his overall quality of life and he is much happier everyday. If my son needs an adjustment, I can simply leave a message detailing what has been going on, and Dr.Fickey/Brianna are quick to reply with a medication adjustment.
