Dr Zak took me as a new patient the morning I called in pain after suffering for four days. He was knowledgeable, friendly and inquisitive to my previous experience as what I felt works for me and what don’t. He saw me two days later again as soon as I called and tried something different from what I’ve had, and with my approval tried a little more aggressive treatment to get to the source of the pain. It worked and I will continue to count on him for my back issues!
Dr Allen Zak DC always leaves me in good shape when I leave the office. Making appointments is easy. I am very glad I found him when I needed his help.
Dr. Zak has been taking care of me for over a year. His treatments have taken care of the pain I have in my neck. He is knowledgable, respectful and kind. Before his treatments began I was in chronic pain. He is a miracle worker.
Very solid choice in recently going with DrZac & wife Chris for deep tissue massage. My recent injury was a severe pain in my lower neck area, probably caused by my 3 hour weight training regimine at Valencia Lakes 3 to 4 times a week for the past 6 years. It was my choice to recently go back to tennis training after a 10 year lay off, due to 17 surgeries from being a former SAG Vegas/LA actor/stand in/stunt man for some of the big boys. No excuses, you play you pay. I also tore my body up as a Pro USPTA; PTR & PPR tennis & pickleball instructor on both coasts & recently @ 5 different locations throughout the Bay area. 'Neck & back problems are game changers'. They'll stop you dead in your tracks, & that's from years of hi end rehab with other pro athletes from many genres. I know the dedication it takes physically & the longterm recovery periods when you don't. I never looked into Chiropractic Medicine before. I should have. I research for the best credentials, & in our S Bay area, Dr.Zac's were the best. My wife is hi end medical with over 100 ASC specialty surgery center developments throughout the US under her belt. We have been very frustrated with the quality of medical care here in this area because too many Dr's just don't seem to care & are unable to maintain quality staffing in the Sun City area. Do your homework. They are often going through the motions with little to no bedside manner & are basically burned out with too many elderly people in such a close proximity. We moved all our specialists & local GPs to the Lakewood/Sarasota area because of this. Dr Z is one of the good ones. His personality shines from the minute you walk in the door. He listens to you & I found him very knowledgable & compassionate, ...rare. His wife Chris fixed a very slow healing musclular neck/back problem with 1 visit. I'm back to sleeping again without pain for the 1st time in weeks, & believe me no one is paying me to say this. I rarely give reviews. But when you find something good in this new world order, I think you should pass it along. Amazing really & their pricing was very reasonable. I almost felt guilty. (If I had all the money back in surgeries & rehab over my career, I'd have a nice little nest egg),... & he accepts Medicare...again rare. I am now 'pro active' in preventing further injuries.
(*4 My 2 cents from working with over 500 + students,... get active, use good nutrition & work out, get re adjusted & realigned on a regular basis*) Wish I knew this 10-30 years ago when performing dangerous stunt work & playing & instructing tennis & pickleball on a professional level. I'm sold...
