I love this spot for happy hour, but don’t wait too late because it’s a small space and it can fill up. I’ve been twice on my own and both times I sat at the bar with a book and ordered a drink (or two) and something to eat. The staff made excellent wine selections for me and now I trust their judgment to bring me something I’ll like. I loved the prosciutto and fig flat bread, but I haven’t been tempted but anything else on the menu. Dining solo, I am unlikely to try the “for sharing” plates. Single serving options would be nice. The atmosphere is friendly and familiar.
Solo diners: both times I’ve gone I sat at the bar by myself. The first time I happened to sit near another solo diner and we struck up a nice conversation. The second time I enjoyed my book and the staff gave me just the right amount of attention. It’s the perfect spot to drop in solo.
Great place for Date night. We each had a flight. She had the chilled red flight and I the whites. We each then had a glass from our flight. We shared the select five charcuterie boards with 3 cheeses 2 cow 1 goat, prosciutto and olives. The Humboldt fog cheese was over favorite. We then also shared the Swiss chard Caesar salad with a Scotch egg and the cheese curds. Both were very very tasty. The curds were some of the best outside of Wisconsin! All told with tip we spent $140. Service was great. Everyone was very friendly. The atmosphere was a bit loud but still fun. Cru Cellars is cheaper than some other wine and board places around the bay. We will go back.
Kaylani and everyone else I interacted with was professional and attentive. Food and drink selection was awesome as well.
Morgan is amazing! She welcomed us so warmly and chatted with us throughout the time we were here. She was super warm and hospitable and really made the experience amazing for us. The wines are delicious and the cheese platter is a must have! Definitely stop by here if you love wine and cheese :)
This location is always such a pleasure to dine at. The scratch meals are always so fun and delicious. The farmer’s platter has good variety and I love the outside seating and music. Very chill environment.
