First Baptist Church

Having attended this church for several weeks I can say it is a loving place. They preach the Bible and do not deter from its teachings. Pastor is great; he calls the congregation ‘Darling Hearts’ which I think is precious. If you are looking for a place where the Holy Spirit dwells you should check out a service. Sunday at 12 am.

They have an excellent band and the pastor preaches a strong message.

Thank you for taking the time to read my review. I have attended for years and will continue to be a member. I go 3 times a week. Monday for women's bible study at 7pm, Wednesday for choir practice/praise and worship 6-8pm and Sunday for breakfast from 830am-930am then bible study following and the main worship service at 11am. I Encourage everyone to come and see what First baptist of port tampa is all about. Military families, single mothers, Newley weds or long time married couples, snow birds, Jesus Christ lovers, those interested in learning about the GoodNews. Come, come, come. I love to bring my kids here. My son now runs to children church and My daughter is very knowledgeable of the lessons learned. I decided to stay here because the message has always been on time and current to what is going on around us in our homes, city and world. King James readings. wonderful traditional hymns, bible studies, the old time feel with a new look. This church has been thriving for over 100years, so that goes to show you. A good thing never dies but lives through Jesus Christ.
