Been here a couple times now and it’s been pretty good each time! Fair warning: if you have a larger group be prepared to wait! Our group of 8 arrived at 11:10am and waited a little over an hour for a table, we expected it as a big group though, especially for a Sunday brunch, so it wasn’t a problem. Elijah J. took care of us this time around and he is AWESOME! Helpful, attentive, quick, and positive. Everything you’d want in a waiter, he’s got it! The table ordered various menu items: Cold Brew, Mango Margarita, Salmon Benedict, Beignets, Omelet, Biscuits and Gravy, and Bourbon Street Pancakes. Delicious all around and service was surprisingly quick for a busy Sunday brunch! Between Elijah J’s service, the food, and the atmosphere, it’s hard to leave unhappy!👍🏼
If you’re a fan of First Watch then you will absolutely enjoy this place even more!
Founded in New Orleans brought to the sunshine state with Cajun offerings and exceptional coffee.
As a first time guest enjoy complimentary Beignets (you’ll need to request it from your server if the host doesn’t share the secret).
Fresh brewed Columbian or House blend pour over hits the coffee bean spot. Their house blend is a lighter roast with caramel undertones. Simply delish!
As a solo diner, the staff was not at all weird about it and didn’t coerce me to sit at the bar. I waited for a table and a table I got!
Their decor is in a cozy but not crammed storefront.
This place does not exude breakfast joint but casual upscale.
My menu choice was the Crab cake Eggs Benedict which is served with either home fries or scratch grits. As an up charge, I took a chance on their “City” grits with goat cheese, chunks of bacon, diced tomatoes and green onions.
Outstanding dishes on their own! I could feast on these grits forevermore!
Crab was so flavorful and if I didn’t know better I’d swear it was fresh. Eggs poached to PERFECTION! The hollandaise sauce with a Cajun Andouille twist. Scrumptious!
Chefs kiss! Kiss ALL the chefs!!
First time and future fan!
We've been here twice and it won't be the last. The staff and food here are on point. The spiked coffee here is good as well. Parking in the front has been a miss for us, but there's a convenient walkway that leads to the back of the building where there is shared parking between the establishments. If you're looking for a quick spot to catch breakfast or brunch, I wouldn't any further if you haven't been here.
Great place to relax after waking up, and heading out into the world, for your day.
I tried the Baquezo Omelette, which had cream cheese, Bacon, and Chorizo Sausage in it. It was seasoned well, and towards the middle of Omelette, a bite i took OOZED Cream Cheese into my mouth, and it was at that moment that Total Satisfaction stepped onto the scene.
My wife had the Spinach Omelette, with Fruit dish..... and i must say, the Mango and Blueberries put a smile on my face (AND A SMILE ON MY PLATE TOO)
WE have decided that Another Broken Egg Cafe will be our Tampa-Visit-Mornin-thing from now on. OH, Ya gotta try their Black Pepper Sauce.... it is fantastic
