After open-heart surgery 19 years ago, I began to walk at least 1000 miles per year, and when I developed foot problems ten years ago, my podiatrist recommended that I receive physical therapy (PT) from Chris Arrigo and his team of physical therapists at Advanced Rehabilitation (AR) here in Tampa.

When I began my twice-weekly PT sessions with Chris, JoAnne, and the AR team, I could barely endure the foot pain in my left foot, and the AR team advised me that I would need to stop my cardio-walks until we could repair my damaged foot. I got a bicycle for cardio work and I set about repairing my left foot under the expert guidance of the AR team. The extraordinary work that Chris and his team did over the next 10 weeks can only be described as miraculous! Not only did they help restore my left foot, but Chris gave me guidance on a PT regimen that I could continue on my own at home. Because of the truly world-class expertise and dedication of the AR team, and because I chose to do the at-home PT regimen that Chris custom-tailored for me, I have walked over 10,000 miles in the course of the last ten years!

Chris, Joanne, and the entire AR team are at the very top...the summit...of the PT world; I have no doubt about that! The fact that they are here in Tampa Bay reminds me of Tom Brady and the Bucs' recent Super Bowl victory. World-class sports, people like me who walk or run a lot, and people recovering from things like knee surgery or other injuries, all deserve world-class PT, and as far as I'm concerned Advanced Rehabilitation could easily win the Super Bowl of physical therapy!

As my body has aged, I've returned to AR for an injury to the top of my left foot, and most recently for a knee injury. In both cases, Chris Arrigo, JoAnne, and the entire AR team healed me.

I cannot adequately underscore the championship quality of the physical therapy (PT) that Advanced Rehabilitation (AR) provides. However, I can unequivocally state that they are the best of the best.

In closing, let me simply share that, in my humble opinion, Chris Arrigo is a PT guru of sorts. When I endured the injury to my left foot that I noted at the beginning of this review, Chris personally assessed my condition by finding the exact point of the injury on the bottom of my foot. JoAnne and the AR team then proceeded to take me through each of my two weekly PT sessions over the next 10 weeks.

Imagine how I felt in week 10 when Chris said, "Let's take a look at your left foot," and then he placed his fingers on the exact spot where the original injury had occurred! How in the world did he remember my left foot so vividly that he could immediately touch the specific spot that had been damaged? Frankly, it was like magic and I will never forget it!

I have the utmost respect for Chris, JoAnne, and the entire Advanced Rehabilitation team, and you will not find better physical therapy anywhere in the Tampa Bay area!
